PRIVATE LESSONS We offer private lessons that can be booked at your convenience. Just call us and tell us what you would like an individual lesson on and we will book an appointment for you. Private lessons are $45 for a one hour session per person. We offer lessons on how to operate your sewing machine and serger as well as machine embroidery, basic sewing and quilting techniques, applique and serging. Call us today to book an appointment. (416) 751-7170 GARMENT SEWING & FITTING CLASS Total of 5 classes This series of classes will take you through all the principal steps of garment making.  You will learn to read, trace and cut a pattern, pin and cut the garment. You will learn proper fitting techniques and how to adjust a pattern for the sizes you need. Everything is hand basted first, fitted and then taken to the machine to sew and finish.  At the end of this course you will go home with a finished garment and the knowledge to make many more. Class size 8 students. This course if offered throughout the year. LANDSCAPE PANEL - cheater panel/quilted landscape In this class Peggy will teach you how to appilque, free motion thread paint using decorative threads and add beaded embellishment to your this beautiful landscape fabric. EASY STRIP QUILT A fabulous quick and easy quilt that you can whip up in no time. Great for a bridal or baby shower gift. Adrienne will cover rotary cutting, measuring and piecing techniques. Turn your 2.5 inch strips into a colourful quilt! Only 3 students needed for the class so grab your friends and make it a day! TEACHER: Adrienne DATE: Thursday June 3, 10am-3pm FEE: $59 QUILTING BASICS - Log Cabin Pillow This class is for who have no knowledge of quilting techniques or terminology. Techniques learned include measuring and cutting using a quilting ruler and rotary cutter, 1/4" piecing, quilting with a walking foot, spray basting and stitching with decorative thread. In this class you will complete a pillow using a traditional Log Cabin quilt block pattern. TEACHER: Terri McBride DATE: Saturday April 17 FEE: $59 CLASS REGISTRATION POLICY MUST be PAID IN FULL at time of registration. Students can register by phone with VISA or MasterCard.
